Someone introduced Boon to the music of the artist Stoto, which inspired him to create a track in a similar style. This led to the creation of Sumo. The person who introduced him to Stoto described the track as having 'summer vibes'. Taking 'SUM' from summer and 'O' from Stoto, the name SUMO was born.
Boon's very first release was The Watch, often referred to as people's favorite track. Fun fact: this track was made using the free demo version of PreSonus Studio One, proving that you don't need expensive tools to create a song with the character of The Watch.
The Bear tells the story of a powerful bear striding through the forest. Suddenly, another bear appears in the distance. The first breakdown of the track represents their cautious approach, studying each other as they move closer. Then, at the big drop, the tension explodes as the two bears collide in a fierce battle, roaring and clashing with intensity.
